Sign-in issues

What to try when sign-in isn't working — by sign-in method and by symptom.

Last updated May 11, 2026

prospiq doesn't use passwords, which removes most of the typical "I forgot my password" problems. But sign-in can still fail for a few specific reasons. This page lists them by sign-in method and by symptom.

Issues with Google sign-in

The Google window doesn't appear when I click Continue with Google

Almost always a popup blocker. The Google sign-in flow opens in a new window, which your browser may be blocking silently. Allow popups for prospiq.net and try again.

Google says my account doesn't have access

This happens when your Google Workspace administrator has restricted what third-party apps you can sign into. Ask your IT team to allow prospiq for your domain. The OAuth provider name they'll see is "prospiq".

Google completes sign-in but prospiq doesn't load

Refresh the page. If it still doesn't work, sign out of Google entirely, sign back into Google, then try prospiq sign-in again. This clears any stale session state.

Issues with Microsoft sign-in

The Microsoft window doesn't appear

Same as Google — popup blocker. Allow popups for prospiq.net and try again.

Microsoft says the app isn't approved

Some Microsoft 365 tenants require admin approval for third-party apps. Your IT team will see the request in their admin center. Ask them to approve "prospiq."

Microsoft completes sign-in but I'm not logged into prospiq

Refresh the page. If still broken, sign out of your Microsoft account, sign back in, retry prospiq.

Issues with email magic link

The magic-link email isn't arriving

Check your spam folder first. Magic-link emails sometimes get filtered, especially the first time you receive one from us.

If it's not in spam either, wait a minute and try again — sometimes delivery is slow. If it still doesn't arrive after five minutes, the most likely causes are:

  • A typo in the email address (go back, re-enter carefully)
  • Your email provider is blocking us at the server level (uncommon — try a different email address)
  • A temporary problem on our side (try again in a few minutes)

The magic link says "expired" when I click it

Magic links are short-lived for security. Request a fresh one from the sign-in page. Click it within a few minutes of requesting.

I clicked the link but nothing happened

Two common reasons:

  • You opened the link in a different browser than where you requested it. Magic links are bound to the browser session that requested them. Open the email and the link in the same browser where you started.
  • The link was already used. Each link is single-use. If you clicked it once and then clicked it again from history, the second click fails. Request a fresh one.

The link works but takes me to the sign-up flow instead of the dashboard

This usually means you signed up with a different method previously, and this email isn't recognized as an existing account. Try the other sign-in methods (Google, Microsoft) with the same email address — one of them probably matches your original signup.

"This email is already registered"

You see this when you try to sign up with an email that already has an account. You don't need a new account — you need to sign in with the existing one.

Try the same sign-in method you used originally. If you don't remember which method, try them in order:

  1. Continue with email (magic link) — works if you signed up with magic link
  2. Continue with Google — works if you signed up with Google
  3. Continue with Microsoft — works if you signed up with Microsoft

The first one that takes you straight into the dashboard is the right one.

"Different sign-in method" issues

Each sign-in method creates a separate identity. If you signed up with you@company.com via Google and later try to sign in with magic link to the same address, you'll create a new, separate magic-link account.

If you've accidentally done this and ended up with two accounts on the same email, email support. We can merge them, but it's a manual process — easier to use the same method you started with.

My account was working and now it's not

A few possibilities:

  • You've been signed out due to inactivity. Sign in again normally.
  • Your Google or Microsoft password was changed recently. Your prospiq session may have expired. Sign back in.
  • Your IT team revoked prospiq's access. If sign-in completes on Google/Microsoft but prospiq says access denied, that's the cause. Talk to IT.
  • Your account was removed from a team. If you were on a team and someone removed you, you still have your personal account but your access to team data is gone. Sign in normally to see what's still accessible.

When to contact support

Email support@prospiq.net when:

  • You've tried every relevant fix above and sign-in still fails
  • You see an error message that doesn't appear on this page
  • You suspect your account has been compromised
  • You ended up with two accounts on the same email and need them merged

Include the email address on your account and a brief description of what you tried. We aim to respond within one business day.
