ZoomInfo is built for big teams with big budgets: annual contracts, sales calls before you see a price, and features most small teams never use. If what you actually need is the right person's verified email and phone number, you're paying for a lot you don't use. The best ZoomInfo alternatives for a small or Indian B2B team are tools you can buy month to month at a published price. If you mainly need verified work emails and phone numbers, billed in rupees and charged only when something is found, start with prospiq. Apollo, Lusha, RocketReach and UpLead cover broad prospecting, and Cognism suits teams selling into Europe. If you need intent data, technographics and org charts at scale, ZoomInfo or another full platform is still the buy.

This guide explains why teams look for ZoomInfo alternatives, what to check before you switch, and how eight options compare as of October 2026. Every competitor price below links to its source. Where we couldn't confirm a number, we left it out.

Why teams look for a ZoomInfo alternative

ZoomInfo is a large sales intelligence platform with a lot of depth. The reasons people leave it are mostly about how it's sold, not what it does.

  • No published prices. ZoomInfo's own pricing guide says "no specific dollar amounts are published because pricing is consumption-based and varies by organization" (ZoomInfo, updated July 2026). You have to go through sales to get a number.
  • Annual billing. The same page says ZoomInfo paid plans are billed annually, not monthly, and that multi-year commitments usually get better terms.
  • Seat minimums. ZoomInfo says paid plans "include a minimum number of seats and scale with headcount." It doesn't say what the minimum is.
  • The size of the bill. Apollo, citing Vendr purchase data, reports a median ZoomInfo contract of $33,500 a year (Apollo, May 2026). Cognism estimates the entry Professional tier at $15,000 to $18,000 a year (Cognism, updated September 2026). Both are competitors, so treat these as estimates, not quotes.
  • Renewal terms. Competitor reviews from Cognism and RocketReach both describe a 60-day cancellation notice before renewal. Your own contract is what counts, so read the renewal clause before you sign.

For a five-person team in Pune or a solo founder in Austin, that's a lot of commitment before you've tested whether the data fits your market.

A note on "ZoomInfo India"

ZoomInfo does have a presence in India. It opened its first physical office here in 2022 and has engineering, data, sales and support teams in the country (CXOToday). That's about where ZoomInfo employs people, though, not how it prices for Indian buyers. We couldn't find published INR pricing, so if you're in India, ask sales directly about currency, GST invoicing and contract length.

Before you spend anything, ZoomInfo has a free tier called ZoomInfo Lite with 10 credits a month and no card required (ZoomInfo). It's a low-cost way to see how its data looks for your target accounts.

What to look for in a ZoomInfo alternative

Don't compare tools on database size. Every vendor claims a huge number, and you can't check it. Compare on things you can check.

  • What you pay for. Some tools charge per contact you reveal or export, whether the email works or not. Others charge only when they find something. Work out your cost per usable contact, not per credit. Our guide on how to calculate the real cost of a prospecting tool walks through the maths.
  • Contract length and billing. Monthly plans let you leave if the data doesn't fit. Annual plans cost less per month but lock you in.
  • Currency and tax. If you're in India, INR billing with a GST invoice is simpler for your accountant than a USD card charge.
  • Coverage for your market. Pull 50 real prospects from your own target list and run them through a free plan or trial. Coverage varies by country and industry, so your own test beats any vendor claim.
  • How emails are verified. Ask what happens at catch-all domains and what happens when a "verified" email bounces. Our post on what email verification actually tells you explains why this matters.
  • What you actually need. If your team uses intent signals, technographics and org charts every day, a lighter tool will frustrate you. If you mostly need an email and a phone number for a named person, a full platform is overkill.

8 ZoomInfo alternatives compared

Prices are as of October 2026, in USD unless noted, and link to the source. Vendors change pricing often, so check the live page before you buy.

1. prospiq

prospiq is a B2B email finder and phone enrichment tool made in India. You give it a name and company, and it returns a verified work email and, if you ask, a direct phone number. No annual contract, no sales call, and you only pay for contacts it actually finds.

  • Pricing model: Credits, charged only when something is found. A verified email is 1 credit, a phone number 10 credits. If nothing is found, nothing is charged.
  • Starting price: Free plan with 20 credits, no card. Starter is $29 a month ($23 billed yearly) with 500 credits. In India, Starter is Rs 2,399 a month (Rs 1,919 billed yearly), excluding 18% GST. Full plans are on the pricing page.
  • Best for: Small and Indian teams who need verified emails and phone numbers for people they've already identified, and want INR billing.
  • Also included: bulk CSV enrichment, an email verifier, a Chrome extension for LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, and prospiq AI for writing and planning outreach.
  • What it doesn't do: intent data, org charts or email sending. Pair it with the outreach tool you already use.

Every email prospiq returns is checked with the mail server before you're charged. If a verified email still bounces, email support@prospiq.net with the bounced addresses within 30 days and the credits are put back in your account.

2. Apollo

Apollo combines a contact database with email sequences and a built-in dialer. It's the most common first stop for teams leaving ZoomInfo.

  • Pricing model: Per user, with an annual credit allowance per plan. Monthly billing is available on Basic and Professional.
  • Starting price: Free plan with 900 credits a year. Basic is $49 per user per month billed annually, Professional $79, Organization $119 with a 3-user minimum (Apollo).
  • Best for: Teams that want data and outreach in one tool.
  • Trade-offs: Per-user pricing adds up as the team grows, and you're managing data and sending in one place, which some teams prefer to keep separate.

We compare the two in depth in Apollo vs ZoomInfo: which sales intelligence tool fits your team.

3. Lusha

Lusha is a contact finder with a browser extension, aimed at reps who look people up one at a time.

  • Pricing model: Credits. Lusha's pricing page says a verified email costs 1 credit and a phone number costs 5 credits (Lusha).
  • Starting price: A permanent Free plan with 40 credits a month and no card. Paid self-serve plans (Starter, Pro, Premium) are billed monthly or annually with no minimum contract (Lusha FAQ). Third-party trackers put Starter at about $49.90 a month on monthly billing. Full plan details are in our Lusha pricing guide.
  • Best for: Individual reps and small teams who prospect from LinkedIn and want a free plan to start.
  • Trade-offs: Bigger teams end up on the custom Scale plan through sales, and phone reveals use credits much faster than emails.

4. Cognism

Cognism is a sales intelligence platform with a strong European focus.

  • Pricing model: Two packages, Standard and Pro, sold through sales. Prices aren't published (Cognism).
  • Starting price: Not public.
  • Best for: Teams selling into Europe. Cognism includes European data as standard and offers phone-verified mobile numbers. The Pro package adds intent data.
  • Trade-offs: No self-serve plan or published price, so the buying process feels closer to ZoomInfo's than the other tools here.

5. Seamless.AI

Seamless.AI is a contact search tool with a free entry plan.

  • Pricing model: Credits, with a free plan and a paid Pro plan.
  • Starting price: Free plan with 50 credits and no card. Seamless says Pro has "no fixed pricing rate" and is tailored to each company (Seamless.AI).
  • Best for: Testing a large search tool at no cost.
  • Trade-offs: You need a sales conversation to get a paid price, which makes budgeting harder.

6. HubSpot data enrichment (formerly Clearbit)

HubSpot acquired Clearbit in late 2023, and its features moved into HubSpot as Breeze Intelligence, with the standalone product being sunset (MarketBetter). HubSpot's help docs now simply call it data enrichment.

  • Pricing model: Part of your HubSpot subscription. HubSpot says data enrichment is available on Starter, Professional and Enterprise editions of its Marketing, Sales, Service, Data and Content hubs, and that it "does not consume HubSpot Credits" (HubSpot).
  • Starting price: HubSpot lists Starter at $20 per seat per month, with a time-limited discount for new customers shown on its site (HubSpot).
  • Best for: Teams already living in HubSpot who want company and contact records filled in.
  • Trade-offs: It enriches records you already have, using a name plus work email or a company domain. It's not built to find a new person's email from scratch, and it doesn't work outside HubSpot.

7. RocketReach

RocketReach is a long-running contact lookup tool with self-serve plans.

  • Pricing model: Lookup credits, with monthly and annual subscriptions (RocketReach).
  • Starting price: A limited free tier with 5 lookups. Team plans start at $6,000 a year (RocketReach, SalesIntel). Third-party sources disagree on current individual plan prices, so check RocketReach's pricing page for the exact figure.
  • Best for: Individuals and small teams who want a self-serve tool without talking to sales.
  • Trade-offs: Team plans jump to an annual commitment, and you'll want to check how lookups are counted before you buy.

8. UpLead

UpLead is a B2B contact database with straightforward, published plans.

  • Pricing model: Monthly credits per user. Monthly plans have no contract.
  • Starting price: Essentials is $99 a month, or $74 a month billed yearly, with 170 credits a month. Plus is $199 a month, or $149 billed yearly, with 400 credits. There's a 7-day free trial with 5 credits (UpLead).
  • Best for: Small teams that want filters and list building with clear monthly pricing.
  • Trade-offs: The per-credit cost is high compared with other tools here, and the Professional tier is annual only.

Which ZoomInfo alternative should you pick?

Start from the job, not the brand.

  • You're an Indian or small team that mostly needs verified emails and phones, billed in INR, paying only for what's found: prospiq.
  • You want one tool for data and outreach: Apollo.
  • You sell mainly into Europe: Cognism.
  • You already run everything in HubSpot: HubSpot's data enrichment, then fill gaps with a finder.
  • You prospect one person at a time from LinkedIn: Lusha or RocketReach.
  • You want clear monthly pricing with list-building filters: UpLead.
  • You need intent data, technographics and org charts across a big team: stay with ZoomInfo, or negotiate harder at renewal.

Whatever you choose, run the same 50 target contacts through two or three free plans before you pay. If you're in India, our comparison of Apollo alternatives in India covers more local options.

Whichever tool you use, only contact people with a genuine business reason, include a clear way to opt out, and honour opt-out requests quickly. Data protection rules like India's DPDP Act and GDPR in Europe apply to contact data, so check with a lawyer if you're unsure what applies to you.

FAQ

Is there a free alternative to ZoomInfo?

Several tools on this list have free plans, including Apollo (900 credits a year), Lusha (40 credits a month) and Seamless.AI (50 credits). ZoomInfo itself also has ZoomInfo Lite with 10 free credits a month. Free plans are best used to test data quality on your own target list before paying.

How much does ZoomInfo cost per year?

ZoomInfo doesn't publish prices, and its paid plans are billed annually. Apollo, citing Vendr data, reports a median contract of $33,500 a year, and Cognism estimates the entry tier at $15,000 to $18,000 a year. Both are competitor estimates, so get a quote for your own team size.

Does ZoomInfo work for Indian companies?

ZoomInfo has an office and teams in India, but we couldn't find published INR pricing. Indian buyers should ask about currency, GST invoicing, seat minimums and contract length up front. Test its coverage of your target accounts with the free ZoomInfo Lite tier first.

Which ZoomInfo alternative has monthly billing?

As of October 2026, Lusha, UpLead and RocketReach all offer monthly plans, and Apollo offers monthly billing on Basic and Professional. Monthly plans cost more per month than annual ones but let you cancel if the data doesn't fit.

What does ZoomInfo do that smaller tools don't?

ZoomInfo's depth is in platform features. It describes its data as including technographics, intent signals and org-chart information (ZoomInfo). Most of the lighter tools above, including ours, don't offer these. If your process depends on them, a full platform is worth the price.
