Apollo.io Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits and India Costs
Apollo.io pricing as of October 2026. Every plan, how credits work, and what an Indian team really pays once USD billing, forex and GST are added.
Apollo.io pricing, as of October 2026, runs from a Free plan to three paid plans at $49, $79 and $119 per user per month billed yearly (Basic, Professional and Organization), with Organization needing at least 3 users. Monthly billing costs more, about $65 for Basic and $99 for Professional, and Organization is sold on yearly billing only. For an Indian team, the real bill is higher than the sticker price, because Apollo charges in US dollars and you add card forex fees and 18% GST on top.
This guide covers each plan, how Apollo's credits actually get used, what an Indian team pays in rupees, and when Apollo is worth it versus a narrower tool.
A quick note on sources. Apollo's own pricing page loads its plan table with scripts, so the annual prices below come from Apollo's own September 2026 explainer, the credit amounts come from two independent trackers that checked Apollo's page in July 2026 (Costbench and Zeliq), and the monthly prices come from Emelia's October 2026 check. Apollo itself says monthly billing is available on Basic and Professional (Apollo). Apollo changes plans often. Check the vendor's pricing page before you commit.
Apollo.io pricing plans in 2026
All prices are per user, per month, in US dollars, before tax.
Free
- Price: $0
- Credits: Apollo's own email finder page lists 50 email credits a month on Free (Apollo). Third-party trackers report a total of 900 credits a year per seat across credit types, so check your account for the current split.
- Good for: trying the database before you pay
The Free plan is genuinely useful for testing, but a free allowance runs out fast if you reveal phone numbers.
Basic
- Annual billing: $49 per user per month
- Monthly billing: about $65 per user per month (up from $59 earlier in 2026, per Emelia)
- Credits: 30,000 per seat per year, granted up front on annual plans
Basic is the entry point for a working rep. Apollo's own explainer says Basic includes unlimited sequences.
Professional
- Annual billing: $79 per user per month
- Monthly billing: about $99 per user per month
- Credits: 48,000 per seat per year
Professional is the step up for growing teams. It adds more credits and higher limits on Apollo's features, including 4,000 call-recording minutes, per Zeliq's July 2026 check.
Organization
- Annual billing: $119 per user per month
- Monthly billing: not offered. Apollo lists monthly billing only on Basic and Professional, and Emelia's October 2026 check says Organization is sold yearly only
- Credits: 72,000 per seat per year
- Minimum: 3 users, so the floor is $357 a month billed yearly
Organization is built for larger teams, with the biggest credit allowance and higher feature limits, such as 8,000 call-recording minutes.
Enterprise
Custom pricing and a custom credit allowance, through Apollo's sales team, on an annual contract.
One caution on credits. Apollo has been moving accounts to a single shared credit pool. Some older reviews still describe separate email, mobile and export credits. If your account shows the older split, your numbers will differ from the ones above.
How Apollo credits work in practice
Credits are the currency for data in Apollo. Here is what Apollo itself says about them, as of October 2026, on its About Credits page.
- Emails: Apollo "never charges more than 1 credit per contact" for an email, and you are charged only for emails it can verify.
- Phone numbers: every verified number costs the same, whether it's a mobile or a direct line. Apollo's page doesn't print the number, but independent reviews put it at 8 credits per verified phone number (Zeliq).
- Exports: credits "may sometimes be used when exporting company data."
- Waterfall enrichment: this checks extra data providers when Apollo's own data has no match. Apollo's help centre says "You aren't charged if a source can't find any data," and shows a credit estimate before each run (Apollo knowledge base).
- Expiry: unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and don't carry over. On annual plans, the whole year's credits unlock at the start.
- Top-ups: you can buy extra credits inside the app.
So, to be fair to Apollo, a miss is not charged. What catches people out is different. Phone numbers cost about 8 times what an email does, and credits you don't use are gone at the end of the cycle.
What an Indian team actually pays for Apollo
Apollo does not offer INR billing, according to this India-focused pricing breakdown (updated October 2026). You pay in dollars, usually on a card. That adds three costs to the sticker price.
1. The exchange rate
Your rupee cost moves with the dollar. A plan that cost one amount last year can cost more this year without Apollo changing anything.
2. Card forex fees
Indian business cards typically charge 1.5% to 3.5% on foreign currency payments, per the same breakdown. A card with low or zero forex markup, or a USD account, cuts this.
3. GST
When a GST-registered Indian business buys a service from abroad, the buyer pays the GST under reverse charge, usually at 18% for services, and can generally claim input tax credit if the service is used for business (Tax2win guide). If you're not GST-registered, the treatment is different. Tax rules depend on your situation, so check with your CA.
A worked example: 3 reps on Apollo Basic
Say you run a 3-person sales team in Pune or Bengaluru and pick Apollo Basic. We'll assume Rs 88 to the dollar for the maths. Use the rate on the day you pay.
Billed yearly
- Subscription: 3 users x $49 x 12 months = $1,764 a year
- In rupees: about Rs 1,55,232 a year
- Card forex fee at 1.5% to 3.5%: about Rs 2,300 to Rs 5,400
- GST at 18% under reverse charge: about Rs 27,900 (claimable as input tax credit if you're registered and eligible)
- Cash out the door in year one: roughly Rs 1.85 lakh to Rs 1.89 lakh, paid up front
Billed monthly
- 3 users x about $65 = about $195 a month, or about Rs 17,200 a month before forex and GST
- Over a year that's about $2,340, or about Rs 2.06 lakh before forex and GST
What do you get for that? About 90,000 credits a year across the three seats on annual billing, plus Apollo's sequences, database search and the rest of the platform. If each rep reveals 100 mobile numbers a month at 8 credits each, that's 2,400 credits a month for the team, well inside the allowance. For most small teams, the credits are not the constraint. The per-seat price is.
If you want to run this kind of maths for any tool, our guide on how to calculate the real cost of a sales prospecting tool walks through it step by step.
When Apollo is worth the money
Apollo is a full sales platform, not just a contact finder. In one login you get a large B2B database with filters, email sequences and a built-in dialer. If your team will actually use most of that, the per-seat price is fair, and you'd pay more stitching together separate tools.
Apollo is a strong fit when:
- You need to build lists from scratch using filters like industry, title and company size
- You want to send sequences from the same tool you prospect in
- Your reps want a built-in dialer instead of a separate calling tool
- You have the time to set up and maintain workflows
When a focused tool fits better
Plenty of teams pay for Apollo seats and use one feature, finding emails and phone numbers for people they already know they want to reach. If that's you, the platform price is hard to justify.
A narrower tool tends to fit better when:
- You already know who you want to contact, from LinkedIn, events or referrals
- You send email from somewhere else, like Gmail, Outlook or a dedicated sending tool
- You only reveal phone numbers for a short list of high-value prospects (see when a phone number is worth finding)
- You want to pay in rupees on an Indian invoice
- Your lookups are uneven month to month and you hate losing unused credits
We compared seven of these options for Indian teams in best Apollo alternatives in India.
Where prospiq fits
prospiq is built for teams that mainly use Apollo to find contacts. It finds verified work emails and direct phone numbers, charges only when it finds them, and bills in rupees. It doesn't run sequences or a dialer, so you keep sending from the email tool you already use.
What's different is how you're charged.
- Charged only when found: a verified work email is 1 credit, a phone number is 10 credits, and if nothing is found you pay nothing.
- INR billing for India: Starter is Rs 2,399 a month (Rs 1,919 billed yearly) for 500 credits. Growth is Rs 4,799 a month (Rs 3,839 billed yearly) for 1,500 credits. INR prices exclude 18% GST.
- No per-user pricing: a Team add-on gives 5 seats for $45 a month on any plan.
- Rollover: on paid plans, unused credits roll over for one month, up to one month's worth.
- Bounces: every email is checked with the mail server before you're charged. If a verified email still bounces, email support@prospiq.net with the bounced addresses within 30 days and the credits are put back in your account.
For the same 3-rep team needing about 300 emails and 50 phone numbers a month (800 credits), the Growth plan would cover it at Rs 4,799 a month plus GST, plus the Team add-on for shared seats. That's a lot less than Apollo Basic for the same team, and every credit is spent on a contact that was actually found. For a side-by-side on features, read prospiq vs Apollo: an honest comparison.
Which should you choose?
- Choose Apollo if your team will use the database filters, sequences and dialer every week. The platform is the value.
- Choose a narrower tool if you mostly need verified contact details for people you've already picked, and you want to pay for results rather than seats.
Whichever you pick, test it on your own target accounts first. prospiq's Free plan gives you 20 credits, enough for 20 verified emails, with no card needed, at prospiq.net/signup. Run 20 names from your own list and compare the results, and the bill, with what you get today.
FAQ
How much does Apollo.io cost per month?
As of October 2026, Apollo's paid plans cost $49, $79 and $119 per user per month when billed yearly, for Basic, Professional and Organization. Monthly billing is higher, around $65 for Basic and $99 for Professional. Organization is sold on yearly billing only and needs at least 3 users. There's also a Free plan and custom Enterprise pricing.
Does Apollo.io charge credits if no email is found?
Apollo says it charges only for emails it can verify, and never more than 1 credit per contact for an email. For waterfall enrichment, its help centre says you aren't charged if a source can't find any data. Phone numbers cost more credits than emails.
Can I pay for Apollo.io in Indian rupees?
As of October 2026, Apollo bills in US dollars and doesn't offer INR billing, according to independent India pricing breakdowns. You'll pay by international card or USD account, and your bank may add a forex fee. GST registered businesses generally pay 18% GST under reverse charge, so check with your CA.
Do unused Apollo credits roll over?
No. Apollo says unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and don't carry into the next cycle or a renewal. On annual plans, the full year's credits unlock at the start, so you have the whole year to use them.
Is Apollo's Free plan enough for a small team?
It's enough to test the product. The free allowance is small, and a few phone number reveals will use most of it. Teams prospecting every day usually need a paid plan or a second tool for contact lookups.
What's the cheapest way to get verified emails if I don't need Apollo's other features?
Use a tool that charges only for contact details found, rather than paying per seat for a full platform. Compare the cost per verified email and per phone number, check whether unused credits roll over, and check the billing currency. Our Apollo alternatives guide compares the options for Indian teams.
