The B2B lead generation tools stack for 2026, sorted by job. Verified pricing, INR starter stack for Indian teams, and the mistakes to avoid.

The best lead generation tools for a B2B team aren't one big platform. They're one tool for each job: finding contacts, verifying them, reaching out, capturing inbound leads and tracking deals in a CRM. A small Indian team can cover all five with free plans and one or two paid tools.

Most "best lead generation tools" lists give you 30 or more names in no particular order. That's not how buying works. You need to know which job a tool does, whether you need that job done yet, and what it costs. This guide sorts the B2B stack by job, with 2 to 4 well-known tools in each, pricing verified as of October 2026.

How to think about lead generation tools

Lead generation is a chain. A gap anywhere breaks it.

  1. Find the right people and their contact details.
  2. Verify that the email or number actually works.
  3. Reach out by email, LinkedIn or phone.
  4. Capture people who come to you through your website.
  5. Track every conversation in a CRM so nothing slips.

If you don't yet have a written process for who you target and what you say, fix that before buying anything. Our guide on how to create a repeatable outbound sales process is a good place to start.

Prices below are in USD unless stated, and link to the vendor's own page. Vendors change pricing often, so check before you buy.

1. Finding contacts: email finders and B2B databases

This is where sales intelligence tools live. Some are big searchable databases. Others find the email for a person you've already picked.

Apollo

A large contact database with built-in email sequences and a dialer.

  • Pricing model: Per user, with an annual credit allowance.
  • Price: Free plan with 900 credits a year. Basic is $49 per user per month billed annually, Professional $79 (Apollo).
  • Suits: Teams that want search, data and sending in one place.

Hunter

An email finder known for domain search, with cold email sending built in.

  • Pricing model: Monthly credits that reset and don't roll over.
  • Price: Free plan with 50 credits a month. Starter is $49 a month, or $34 a month billed yearly, with 2,000 credits (Hunter).
  • Suits: Teams that find people by company domain and want a generous free tier.

Lusha

A contact finder with a browser extension, built for looking people up one at a time.

  • Pricing model: Credits. 1 credit for a verified email, 5 for a phone number (Lusha).
  • Price: Permanent Free plan with 40 credits a month. Self-serve paid plans bill monthly or annually with no minimum contract (Lusha FAQ).
  • Suits: Individual reps prospecting from LinkedIn.

prospiq

A B2B email finder and phone enrichment tool made in India. Give it a name and company, and it returns a verified work email and, if you ask, a phone number.

  • Pricing model: Credits charged only when something is found. Verified email 1 credit, phone number 10 credits, nothing found 0.
  • Price: Free plan with 20 credits, no card. Starter is Rs 2,399 a month in India (Rs 1,919 billed yearly), excluding 18% GST, or $29 a month outside India. See pricing.
  • Suits: Small and Indian teams who already know who they want to reach and need verified emails and phone numbers, billed in INR.

prospiq doesn't do intent data, technographics or org charts, and it doesn't send email. Pair it with a sending tool from section 3.

2. Verifying: email verification tools

Even good data decays. People change jobs, and companies change domains. Verifying before you send protects your domain's reputation. Many finders verify as they go, but you still need a verifier for older lists, CRM exports and event sign-ups. Read what email verification actually tells you to understand its limits, especially at catch-all domains.

ZeroBounce

  • Pricing model: Pay-as-you-go credit packs that never expire.
  • Price: 100 free credits a month with a free account. The smallest pack is 2,000 credits for $39 (ZeroBounce).
  • Suits: Teams that clean lists now and then and don't want a subscription.

NeverBounce

  • Pricing model: Pay-as-you-go or monthly subscription.
  • Price: $8 for 1,000 verifications at the smallest pay-as-you-go tier. The Growth subscription is $49 a month for up to 10,000 emails (NeverBounce).
  • Suits: Teams verifying a steady volume every month.

3. Reaching out: cold email, LinkedIn and dialers

This is the job where tools can do the most damage if misused. More volume isn't the goal. Relevant messages to the right people are. Before you send, read our guide to cold email deliverability.

Cold email sequencing

Instantly

  • Pricing model: Flat monthly plans with unlimited sending accounts and warmup.
  • Price: Growth is $47 a month for 5,000 emails and 1,000 uploaded contacts. Hypergrowth is $97 a month (Instantly).
  • Suits: Small teams that want to send from a few inboxes without paying per seat.

lemlist

  • Pricing model: Monthly plans, cheaper with yearly billing. Contact data is a separate add-on.
  • Price: The Email plan is listed at $69 a month, and the Multichannel plan, which adds LinkedIn, SMS and a call dialer, at $109 a month, both shown with a discount for yearly billing (lemlist).
  • Suits: Teams that want email, LinkedIn and calls in one sequence.

LinkedIn tools

LinkedIn Sales Navigator is LinkedIn's own paid prospecting product for searching and saving leads on the platform.

Waalaxy automates LinkedIn invitations and messages.

  • Pricing model: Per user per month, cheaper with quarterly or yearly billing.
  • Price: Pro is shown at €19 per user per month with 300 invitations a month, with a 14-day free trial (Waalaxy).
  • Suits: Founders and small teams running steady LinkedIn outreach.

Automation tools can break LinkedIn's rules if pushed too hard. Keep volumes modest and messages personal. Our post on prospecting on LinkedIn without wasting hours covers a manual-first approach.

Dialers

Aircall

  • Pricing model: Per licence, minimum 3 licences.
  • Price: Essentials is $30 per licence per month billed annually, Professional $50 (Aircall).
  • Suits: Teams of three or more with a dedicated calling motion.

JustCall

  • Pricing model: Per user, minimum 2 users.
  • Price: Team is $29 per user per month billed annually (JustCall).
  • Suits: Small teams that want calling and SMS without a 3-seat minimum.

In India, check that a dialer supports Indian numbers before you sign, and be aware that TRAI has rules on commercial calls. Check with a lawyer if you plan to call at volume.

4. Capturing inbound: forms and chat

Outbound gets attention. Inbound captures people who are already interested. Both belong in a lead generation stack.

Forms

  • Tally: Free plan with unlimited forms and submissions under fair use. Pro is $24 a month (Tally). Suits teams that want good-looking forms at no cost.
  • HubSpot forms: Included in HubSpot's free plan, which also gives you a basic CRM (HubSpot). Suits teams that want form submissions to land straight in a CRM.

Live chat

  • tawk.to: The core live chat is free. Removing its branding costs $29 a month, and its AI Assist add-on starts at $29 a month (tawk.to). Suits small sites that want chat without a subscription.
  • Zoho SalesIQ and Intercom are well-known paid options if you outgrow a free tool. Check their current pricing directly.

5. Tracking: the CRM

A CRM is where leads become deals. Pick one early, even if it's a free one, so every reply and call has a home. If your existing CRM is messy, clean it before you add new leads to it.

Zoho CRM

  • Pricing model: Per user per month.
  • Price: Free for up to 3 users (Zoho). Standard is Rs 1,400 per user per month billed annually in India (Zoho).
  • Suits: Indian teams who want INR billing and room to grow.

HubSpot

  • Pricing model: Per seat, with a free plan.
  • Price: Free plan for 2 users and up to 1,000 contacts. Starter is listed at $20 per seat per month, with a time-limited discount for new customers shown on the page (HubSpot).
  • Suits: Teams that want marketing, forms and CRM in one place.

Freshsales

  • Pricing model: Per user per month, cheaper billed annually.
  • Price: Growth is $9 per user per month billed annually. There's also a free plan and a 21-day trial (Freshworks).
  • Suits: Small teams that want a low-cost paid CRM.

Starter stack for a small Indian B2B team on a budget

For a founder or a 1 to 3 person team doing focused outbound.

  • Finding contacts: A pay-per-result finder on its entry plan, such as prospiq Starter at Rs 2,399 a month plus GST, or Hunter's free plan if your volume is tiny.
  • Verifying: ZeroBounce's 100 free monthly credits for older lists.
  • Reaching out: Instantly Growth at $47 a month for email, plus manual LinkedIn messages.
  • Capturing inbound: Tally (free) and tawk.to (free).
  • CRM: Zoho CRM Free for up to 3 users.

That's roughly Rs 2,399 plus GST and $47 a month for the paid parts. For more ways to keep costs down, see bootstrapped sales tools that don't burn runway.

Stack for a growing team

For a 5 to 15 person team with dedicated SDRs.

  • Finding contacts: Apollo Basic or Professional if you want search and sending in one place, or a finder on a higher plan with API access.
  • Verifying: NeverBounce Growth for regular list hygiene.
  • Reaching out: Instantly Hypergrowth or lemlist Multichannel, Sales Navigator seats for SDRs, and JustCall or Aircall for calling.
  • Capturing inbound: HubSpot forms or Tally Pro, plus live chat on key pages.
  • CRM: Zoho CRM Standard, HubSpot Starter or Freshsales Growth.

Mistakes to avoid with lead generation tools

  • Buying a giant database before you have a process. If you can't name your ideal customer and write the first email, a big database just gives you more people to ignore. Start with a list of 100 accounts and a process you can repeat.
  • Skipping verification. Sending to bad addresses hurts your domain, which then hurts every email you send, even to good addresses. Verify before every campaign, and re-verify older lists, because contact data goes stale as people change jobs.
  • Spamming. Unlimited sending accounts aren't a licence to blast. Send to people with a real business reason to hear from you, include a clear opt-out in every email, and honour it quickly.
  • Paying per seat for people who don't use the tool. Audit seats every quarter.
  • Ignoring privacy law. India's DPDP Act and GDPR in Europe both apply to personal data, including work contact details. Check with a lawyer about your obligations. Anyone can ask to be excluded from prospiq's data at prospiq.net/opt-out.

If you want to try the finding step on your own list, prospiq's Free plan gives you 20 credits, no card needed.

FAQ

What are lead generation tools?

Lead generation tools help B2B teams find potential buyers, get their contact details, reach out and track the conversations. They usually cover five jobs: finding contacts, verifying them, outreach, capturing inbound leads and CRM. Most teams need one tool per job, not one tool for everything.

Which lead generation tools are best for B2B companies in India?

Look for INR billing, GST invoices and coverage of Indian companies. Zoho CRM bills in INR and has a free plan for 3 users. For contact data, test two or three finders on your own target list before paying, because coverage varies by market.

What is the difference between lead generation tools and sales intelligence tools?

Sales intelligence tools are one part of the lead generation stack. They focus on data about companies and people, such as contact details and, on bigger platforms, intent signals and technographics. Lead generation tools is the wider term, covering outreach, forms, chat and CRM as well.

Can I do B2B lead generation for free?

You can start for free with Hunter's 50 monthly credits, ZeroBounce's 100 monthly verification credits, Tally forms, tawk.to chat and Zoho CRM's free plan. Free tiers have tight limits, so expect to pay for at least one tool, usually contact finding or email sending, once you have a working process.

How many lead generation tools does a small team need?

Usually four or five, one per job. Many small teams use a finder, a cold email tool, a form, a chat widget and a free CRM. Add a dialer and LinkedIn tools only when you have someone making calls and running LinkedIn outreach every day.
